The Excitement Continues to Grow For the 1st Annual Spryfield Village Harvest Festival

spryfield-harvest-festivalYou can feel the excitement in the air as events and activities continue to grow for the 1st Annual Spryfield Village Harvest Festival to be held over three weekends from September 21st to October 5th.

Watch the August and September issues of this newspaper for details and schedules of activities which will include a Business Expo, Spryfield Idol Talent Contest, Food Festival, Giant Yard Sale, Trail Walks, Bike Rodeo, Children’s Activities and much, much more.

The festival will focus on local food, our community and promoting Spryfield and the entire “Loop” to all of HRM. “Spryfield is growing and is a desirable place to live, work and play and we want to show our pride in our community by hosting this event”, said Spryfield and District Business Commission (SDBC) Chairman Ryan Brennan, who in partnership with the Urban Farm Museum Society, the Spryfield YWCA and Chebucto Connections are the primary organizers of the event.

Bruce Holland, SDBC Executive Director said, “it is exciting to see so many community groups, businesses and individuals come together to be a part of an event that will celebrate and promote our community.”
